Australian indie outfit J4 recently released their self-titled debut EP, which kicks off in epic style with the lead track and single, “Medicine.”
The track coasts by with an effortless brisk cool, one that shines in a glorious way in the worlds of indie pop and rock, like a blend of Peter Bjorn & John, The Drums and Cults. It’s infectious as all hell and simply one of the finest slices of pop you will hear all year.
Discussing the song the band adds:
“It was all of us belting out these harmonies huddled around the mic. We kept laughing at each other’s faces while singing really passionately.”
