The longstanding Texas indie outfit The Polyphonic Spree recently returned with “Got Down To The Soul” a new single from their upcoming new album Salvage Enterprise, which will be released next year.

The track feels like a long-lost classic rock offering that features sprawling epic Beatles-esque guitar work and strings, with some dreamy expansive Flaming Lips psych-exploration that soars high into the cosmos.

Speaking on the song, the band’s Tim DeLaughter details:

You’re coming up from the ashes like a phoenix after everything you’ve been through. This is where everything becomes clear, and there’s a certain peacefulness that comes from that. Everything finally makes sense.
