You Fool! is an indie rock band from the suburbs of Washington, DC that have recently returned with their new album, hello Armageddon.
One of the standout offerings is the sem-title track “hello Armageddon (Fuck It, We’re Dancing)”, a song described as “an anthem for a generation that feels they’ve inherited a world all but doomed, but don’t yet hold the reigns to reshape the world in their image and address our most daunting problems.”
It perfectly merges the worlds of pop and rock in a way that hits hard but also has a smart pop-natured hook that feels natural and fitting. Like a blend of Metric, Los Campesinos, and Wolf Alice. All good things.
