Portuguese indie rockers Kiddos is the duo of best friends Vera Vaz and Carolina Moura, who use the project to channel “their past relationship traumas and inner insecurities into energetic colorful songwriting.” This is most certainly the case with their debut single, the impressive “Alone.”
The track blends the rawness of Hinds with the melodic heft and atmosphere of Warpaint, with some vivid passion and heart that shines with some loose garage rock guitar work, with a gentle and smart touch that helps the track ring even more true.
