Pearl & the Oysters are Joachim Polack and Juliette Davis, an LA based French-American duo who have charmed us a great deal with their latest single, “Sonhando Com Nosso Amor”. It’s the first single taken from their upcoming split EP, Coordonnées, with Paris-based group Biche.
“Sonhando Com Nosso Amor” is a track that sounds like a day-dream taped onto a old VHS tape that you discovered rummaging through your attic. It has a vintage glow to it but the emotions that are printed on the tape are still very much intact.
About the track, the band adds:
It was born thanks to a long distance friendship and mutual admiration. It is about memories, complicity, and translates the urge to make music together despite the 9000km that separate us.
