TOLEDO, the New York-based duo of Dan Álvarez de Toledo and Jordan Dunn-Pilz have been putting a steady stream of great music for some time now.
Their hard work has paid off as they have recently signed to Grand Jury Music, who just recently put out their 90s esque single “L-Train.’ The track pulls from their influences in the world of 90s indie-folk, with personal intimacy, blended well with a wistful polished dreamy quality that has become their trademark of the sort.
Speaking to their new single, TOLEDO explains:
“L-Train was written at a low point for the both of us. We had just moved to Bushwick and started playing shows every week. We were drinking and partying and losing sight of ourselves.”
