Over the weekend Stray Fossa released their sophomore album Closer Than We’ll Ever Know via Born Losers Records. We shared a handful of pre-release singles from the album and with the album’s release today we share another highlight, “So Still.”
It’s a funky effort from the Charlottesville-based dream poppers, one that could have been happily mistaken as a bit of an 80s long-lost classic. There is a mix of that ever-familiar chillwave sound they weave in so naturally, with a bit of some of the latter-day Tame Impala pop-psych grooves.
