“Stabbings” is the impressive debut single from Ljug Aldrig, the experimental rock project of Stockholm-based musician, boxer, and visual artist ROOSEN. The track reveals in a keen sense of classic rock instrumentation and vocals that they still manage to swerve into a lane of their own.
The band is able to weave in a steadyhanded sense of atmosphere with a rolling style of instrumentation that builds to a fully realized and even meditative/melancholy feeling in the air. As far as debut singles go, it doesn’t get much better than this.
