Sister Jack is a musician from Seattle that makes blistering post-punk with angular guitar riffs, such as on their recently released single “Come Apart”.
The track has a brooding dark atmosphere that reminds of 80s new wave and post-punk artists like Joy Division, with some more modern influences such as the sharp guitar work of Bloc Party. There is a raw and honest nature to it all which was all a part of its charm.
As the artist describes it:
I recorded this by myself in my room. It sounds pretty raw and production was definitely cheap but I kind of like that about it.
