Norway’s Ola Kvaløy, member of the acclaimed indie-pop band Lano Places, left music 20 years ago, turning to academia, and working as a professor of economics.
In recent years Ola has since returned to the world of music and most recently teamed up with Norwegian pop star Morten Abel and multi-instrumentalist Thomas Gallatin on his debut solo album, Any Other Life, which will be released this Fall.
“Fair Weather” is the first single shared from the record, a song with a bright-minded vibrant nature and a combination of sprawling strings, pop melodies but gentle indie-folk harmonies that are emotionally affecting. It does glow with a 90s rock shine but also has a timeless charm that carries it smoothly through your speaks and directly into your heart.
