British singer-songwriter Findlay has returned with her second album The Last of the 20th Century Girls, which was released via Kartel Music Group.
The album takes on themes of “themes ranging from grief and loss to the struggle of losing and rebuilding one’s confidence, through challenges and pitfalls.” “Somehow, Someday” is a sprawling 70s psych ode with a big bold production style that feels like it’s pulled from a different era. The vocal work packs a serious punch reminding of Cate Le Bon, as if backed by Temples.
