Asheville, North Carolina-based rockers BEX have released their new EP Move It Or Lose It over the weekend, which features very 90s grunge and garage rock anthems such as single and standout jam, “Molly.”

Fans of classic acts like The Breeders as well as more modern acts like Dilly Dally, Forth Wanderers, and Bully will find lots to love on Molly which hits hard with sludgy guitar work and elements of shoegaze bubbling on the surface to a wonderful effect.

About the song, the band adds:

I wanted to reference visuals a bit more morbid as a representation of the pain and affliction that can come with someone breaking a promise. Someone ‘nailing their feet down to stay’ is them making a promise to not only you, but themselves. When they run away (breaking their promise), it doesn’t only harm the promisee, but the promiser, too. That’s why I bring back the word ‘away’ throughout the chorus, too.”
