Premiere, the duo of Oskar Engström and Filip Spetze (Holograms), collide forces to create a sound that looks back on “what has become interpreted as the Swedish music scene and genre – Gothenburg and antirock.”
They returned with their new “antirock anthem” “Sun Kissed” a song that is ready for the “rooftop parties in the post-pandemic sunrise.” Early 2010s bands such as Tough Alliance and Air France come to mind, with a dreary late night dance sound that feels distant yet entirely present at the same time. Full of an uplifting dance beat and some vintage lo-fi production aspects, it’s a sound that feels old and new, the past and present colliding to get you on the dancefloor without a care in the world.
