Los Angeles-based artist Conflict at Serenity Pools released his new album Type A on April 1st, which will be soon followed by a companion album, Type B, which will be out on May 6th.

“Corn Cobs” is a highlight from Type A, a trippy blend of psych-rock and indie electronic with a look towards a vintage soundscape world. Think Ariel Pink meets My Bloody Valentine.

Or as they describe it:

There is a distinct underlying beat and romantic, psychedelic textures of synthesizer. Lyrically the song is about trying to escape the city and refocus with your partner, or almost a dream or imagined version of that. The track has a warped nostalgia RIYL cocteau twins, jesus and the mary chain, my bloody valentine, disco b sides
