Zotron and The Space Muffins is a Chicago-based project of Zoe Kagan, based on the artists’ high school project that she did as a part of her senior project where they were tasked to write and perform an EP. She teamed up with her father, who is an audio engineer, and helped co-write the songs for their Black Rabbit EP.

The result is something impressive featuring tracks like “Kissing On The Bus” which feels fully formed and influenced by 80s rock and more modern bedroom pop artists, with a bit of Japanese Breakfast and Frankie Cosmos in its DNA. A seductive chorus and vibrant dream pop elements result in something that features some real emotional connection and rather infectious nature. This is the start of a promising career, one we can’t wait to hear more from soon enough.

For now, enjoy a listen to “Kissing On The Bus” below and find the entire EP available to stream and purchase at Bandcamp.
