Icelandic singer-songwriter artist Axel Flóvent has recently released new EP Coexist (released via Nettwerk), which features collaborations with various artists from around the world with the goal to combine different perspectives in both place and sound/texture to create a unique and special project of its own.
Leading the charge on the EP is the single and opening (title) track which does see Flóvent perform solo – but also marks the first time that the singer performs solely through the instrumental nature of the piano. A gorgeous display that still packs a stronghold emotionally, with a cinematic atmosphere that is impossible to deny.
