Portland, Oregon artist Dana Buoy is preparing the release of his new album, Experiments in Plant-Based Music: Vol. I, which will be out May 13 on Everloving.
“When It’s You I See” is the retro-fitted blend of 70s psych-rock and an 80s art indie rock sound. Imagine a blend of early Tame Impala mixed with Stereolab. Really, it’s a colorfully drawn genre-bender that packs a lot of punch into what sounds like the best daydream ever.
On the song Dana Buoy says:
“This is a song for Henry. A young one whom I adore, and will always be there for as he continues to grow and discover the wonders of nature.”
