Brunette, are a 5-piece rock band from Minneapolis, who has won us over with their single “Triple Threat,” taken from their upcoming debut album. The track was written about “feeling unwanted and wanting to get out town.”
There is a big 90s indie presence to the track with a power-pop anthemic spirit bubbling under the surface, coalescing with a raw and vulnerable vocal performance that has a slight early 2000s emo rock passion and sincerity to it. Like the Pixies meets Fountains of Wayne.
