George David, who you may know under his other musical monikers, Monmoi or Lauder, is a singer-songwriter from Walthamstow, London, UK. He is preparing for the release of his debut EP, Three Months, a concept EP about “a relationship blossoming prior to the lover in question moving back to Australia for 3 months. The EP starts on the first date, works its way through the relationship building until the realisation that she will be going away for three months as everything is truly starting to come together.”
He has shared the EPs penultimate track, the devastating and intimate “Blackhorse Road”. It captures the sad essence and far too real picture it paints of the ending of a relationship, and the feelings of longing and melancholy that it deftly brings to life.
Or as he describes:
Blackhorse Road is set the night before she leaves and lets you understand the feelings of our protagonist, fear, love, desperation and closure. From helping her pack her bags, through to the realisation of saying goodbye at the airport, it ends with the hope that she will come back to the place that they first met, and the place they have spent their brief, albeit intense, relationship together.
