South of France, the Denver-based band led by frontman Jeff Cormack, is preparing their new album My Spirit Animal My Baggage, which features tracks such as the epic single “Observatory.”
The track delivers big fuzzy droaning guitars and a grandiose build of dreamy lush vocals, percussion and guitar bliss that adds up to something rousing and anthemic with plenty of feelings of melancholy.
About the son, Cormack adds:
I just wanted to create a very straightforward, dreamy love song. Something that’s more of a loud fuzzy feeling with Observatory than it is anything else.
And he most certainly succeeds.
