Philadelphia, Pennsylvania indie rock trio Grocer have recently returned with their new single “Pick A Way” which is taken from their forthcoming album, Numbers Game, due out on May 6th via Grind Select.
The electric indie rock outing taps into an unnerving yet utterly compelling slice of 90s indie rock and garage, which a challenging bit of a post-punk and mathy combination that builds and builds until its climactic conclusion.
Written by the band’s Cody Nelson, “Pick A Way” is described as:
“An attempt to try and understand the increasingly detached lines of reason that go hand-in-hand with toxic masculinity in general and also specifically during the insurrection at the Capitol”
