Elephant Castle, the reliable project of Los Angeles-based singer and multi-instrumentalist Phil Danyew, has returned with his glossy new single “No Me And You.”
The track is described by Danyew as a “triumphant celebration of being broken up with” and the track makes good on that promise, detailing the subject manner with a psych-rock and pop combination that features groovy instrumentation melded confidently with some really smart pop hooks, like a mix of MGMT and Tame Impala.
