Thaïti is a groovy band from the Netherlands who have won us over with their spaghetti western-inspired new single “Santa Fe.”

The track captures elements of groovy dance-rock, psychedelic, and the sort of Spaghetti Western surfy sounds that would make Tarantino smile. It has a bit of a funk and groovy dance nature that recalls some of the work of bands like Fool’s Gold and Khruangbin.

Or as the band describes it:

The song Santa Fe is written by a band member who had a terrible fever dream, one in which we as a band were playing the cast of a 60s weird spaghetti western movie… full of shadow creatures, desert storms and a raging pandemic. Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. Without ever setting foot in that city, the dream made it obvious where we were. The song, that we recorded the next day in a hot studio somewhere in the Dutch prairie, eventually became the soundtrack to this dreamy B-movie inside of our heads.

Enioy a listen to “Santa Fe” now below.
