Starman Jr. is the recording project of Mississippi native, Adam Porter. He has caught our attention with his retro-fitted psych-rock ode, “In The Snow” taken from his recently released album Hardcore.
Gorgeous melodic sense and a throwback to retro hazy psych of the 60s rock scene with some of the more experimental lo-fi charm of late 2000’s acts like Smith Westerns. Its chorus packs a sneaky big punch with lots of whip-smart hooks and wonderful flourishes that are bound to get stuck in your head.
