Soft Top Intrepid comes back swinging with their great new single “Lemon Lung”, which follows their debut single “Some Same.”
The track finds high energy and slick polished new wave pop sound with a colorful vibrant shine to it that is simply irresistible despite it being about “grounding one’s self when life gets overwhelming”. There are elements of 80s pop and rock in there with a jangly element that is toe-tapping good.
About the track, the band’s Rob LaPlante adds:
I wanted to touch on finding solace in someone or something when things get crazy and recognizing and appreciating the importance of the support that you get,” Rob explains. “Self-awareness when you’re at your lowest is crucial.
