Kicking is an alternative/grunge band based in Jackson Mississippi who brings shoegaze to life in sprawling fashion on their new EP, Goodbye Party, which was recently put out via Candlepin Records.
The highlight of the EP comes with the single “Flowers” a track that splits the difference between distorted shoegazze and 90s grunge, with a bit of an early 2000s emo sound and style of production that all combines to something equally effective on its own.
