Last weekend Brooklyn rising post-punk rockers Catcher released their debut album The Fat Of A Broken Heart featuring pummeling tracks like the standout offering and single, “Behind a Bleeding Heart.”

The band hones in on a mood and vibe and goes in tenfold. Capturing the manic brooding oomph of early Iceage with the mathy guitars of Women/Preoccupations, the track also captures the moodiness of Protomartyr. All good things.

You can blast “Behind a Bleeding Heart” below and find the entire LP available to stream and purchase at Bandcamp/
