Berlin-based dreamy psych-pop artist Nicole Faux Naiv will release her debut album Moon Rally on April 8th via Bronze Rat Records, and with the announcement she has since shared its lead single “Imaginary Boy.”
The song, which is a bout being obsessed with a strange, unrealistic projection of a person, instead of with the person itself” captures a bit of a slick 80s inspired art rock and pop sound, reminiscent of some of the work of 2010 indie mainstays such as TOPS and Mr Twin Sister. Jangly dream pop with a bit of a lo fi charm and late night nature to it.
