Bloc Party’s Russell Lissack recently made his solo debut with his first EP, Algorhythms.
The EP features an alternative take on the sound fans may be familiar with from the sharp angular guitar work of Bloc Party, such on the more electronic leaning “Audio Transmission” which features the vocals of Latenight Honeymoon’s Ted Joyce.
There are bits and pieces of the new age sounds of Bloc Party, just with a much lighter and free-flowing touch with the warm addition of Joyce’s vocals.
