Melk is an indie rock band from Washington, DC who has won us over with their effortlessly charming songs off their 3-song EP Somebody, Nobody, Anybody.

There is lead single and opener “HS/BF”, a track that carries itself with joyful power pop and jangly 90s indie sound that is about “letting somebody treat you badly even though you should know better.”

Then there is “My Heart Feel Out” a song that showcases a youthful charm and spirit with some dreamy qualities and light pop moments, reminiscent of bands like Alvvays, Best Coast, and others, but ultimately, it coasts to a feel-good sunny spirit completely of its own accord.

Enjoy a listen to both songs now below and find the entire EP available to listen / buy at Bandcamp.
