Coventry, UL-based 5-piece indie rock outfit Rattlesnake returned in January with their great new single “Diogenes.” The song is about an encounter that their lead guitarist had at a pub with a very drunk and cynical man.

The resulting song feels like the sort of anthemic song pulled from the late 2000s UK, the sort of song that would take the NME by storm. A bit of the shimmer of bands like The Long Blondes and a bit of a that Milburn vocal delivery and guitar work.
