No Star is the Chicago rock duo of childhood friends Ryan Thomas and Robert Donile who caught our attention last year with the release of “Gardenview”.
“Slip” is the latest shimmering effort from the duo, who combine some emotive vocals and production work that create feelings of nostalgia and melancholy, all with the crunchy of shoegaze and 90s garage rock. It packs a surprise punch with an anthemic chorus and feelings of grandeur.
