Nile Marr, son of the legendary Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, has returned with his latest single “Only Time Can Break Your Heart”
The track was recorded in a studio that Marr built in an abandoned mill during lockdown and features a lot of the classic songwriting aspects of his father, with plenty a voice of his own. Bright-minded guitar work and melodies with an easy going breezy vocal performance that sounds like a great 90s track that never saw the light of day.
