New York-based dream-pop act Marjorie is the duo of vocalist Melodie Stancato and multi-instrumentalist Zachary Taube. On January 21st they released their debut EP, Doesn’t Exist via Whatever’s Clever!.
Opening the track is the bedroom pop smooth layered goodness of “Doesn’t Exist.” The track captures a wistful and ethereal atmosphere that shines thanks to the vocals of Stancato that put the mind at ease. The glossy arrangements and jazzy bits are wonderfully put together by Taube, resulting in quite an introduction for all else that is to come from the EP.
