Louise Weseth is an Oslo/Copenhagen/ based artist and self-producer who conjures up synth-based dream pop that they describe as “dreamy and soft.”
Their latest offering, “Woodlands”” live up to both of these descriptions, a song that is about the heavy air between two people when there are so many things to be said but you don’t. About being the one who has to make things move.”
It’s a tenderly constructed indie ballad with elements of folk, dream pop and more, with a magical use of strings that results in something rather heartbreaking, in the best way imaginable – like a blend of Beach House and Lana Del Rey.
