Norwegian indie rockers Lazy Queen are due for the release of their new EP A Human Reaction on March 18th via Icons Creating Evil Art.
They have shared the big-spirited anthemic power pop and garage rock blissful single “Bed/Head.” The track trades big pop-minded choruses with some high octane and high energy garage punk riffs that feel like a mix of PUP, Weezer, and Green Day.
About the track the band’s Henrik García Søberg offered this bit of insight:
“Bed/Head is what your room smells when you haven’t gotten out of bed for a week straight. It’s feeling like your friends have forgotten you exist, and you’ve given them every reason to. It’s forgetting the sound of your own voice. It’s isolation and looking for a way out. It’s also a noisy pop song.”
