Leah Dunn is an indie rock singer-songwriter from Belmont, California, who recently returned with their new song “Low Resolution” which is a song that “exposes the cycle of broken promises we make to ourselves every new year and is the perfect soundtrack for popping champagne alone.” So with the arrival of New Year and this pandemic seemingly returning, it seems to be perfectly timed.
Hazy with a 90s charm and production style that moves at a sludgy pace before it slowly welcomes in a bit of a shimmering warm shoegaze-inspired draw that has a lush and dream pop nature. The sense of melancholy and unknown is perfectly captured by the instrumentation and the vocals which have a sense of emotion just waiting to be released.
