Monsoon is a band from Athens, Georgia who are gearing up for the release of their sophomore album Ghost Party, which they’ll release on February 18th. Ahead of its release comes their new single “O Brother” which taps into many genres of indie rock while also finding a charm of its own.
There is a bit of an indie-pop crunch and verve to the swagger of the vocal work and delivery as well as those slick guitar work. Early 2000s power pop blends with some more artful indie rock elements that deliver a punch that feels raw and completely authentic.
