Wah Together is the new NYC supergroup featuring Phil Mossman (Ex-LCD Soundsystem), Vito Roccoforte (The Rapture), Steve Schiltz (Longwave) and frontwoman Jaiko Suzuki (Electroputas).
The band will release their debut album Let’s Wah Together on March 4th, 2022 via Dedstrange and recently made their debut with single “Sayonara, a track that dives into wonderous indie rock and danceable sound that captures the feel of that oh so revered early 2000s indie rock spirit.
The vocals capture a breezy ’60s pop feel with a lovely guitar groove and atmosphere that is well-equipped to deliver the song’s themes of bidding farewell to the “sweet memories of a lost lover.” Like a mix of Deerhoof, Blonde Redhead, and The Strokes into one glorious sound.
