Norwegian-Irish singer-songwriter Tara Nome Doyle is preparing for the release of her new album Værmin for release on January 28th, 2022.

Ahead of its release came her enchanting single, “Crow” a song embedded in hues of atmosphere and ethereal euphoria that has a haunting lingering presence. Powerhouse vocals combined with the textured production creates a ballad that is majestic and it is sweeping and utterly transfixing.

Speaking about “Crow”, Doyle adds,

‘Crow’ tells the tragic love story of an opposing couple. The ‘shadow’ (referring to the theories of C.G. Jung) feels harassed, while the ‘persona’, unsuspecting, rises into naive romantic fantasies. There are many references in the lyrics to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet to describe this doomed dynamic.
