Adrian Mars is a DIY, self-recording / producing artist hailing from Victoria, BC, who now calls Montreal home. He has recently returned with his new single “Crush” a track that he self-recorded and mixed in the basement of a house he lived in Victoria.
It’s described by him as a “lyrical references to self-destruction, abuse and love serve as a message of longing gently tucked beneath a maelstrom of distorted guitars and soothing textures.” The track itself casts a certain spell with some big expansive guitar work with a dreamy presence and psych-rock influence, feeling like a mix of Tame Impala and Cass McCombs, assembling a world of its own creation.
