Yorkshire post-punk indie outfit Deadletter has recently signed to Nice Swan Records, which at this point should be all you need to know that this is a band worth keeping an eye on.
The band recently shared their new single, “Pop Culture Connoisseur” a track that combines post-punk into a more art-rock and slightly dance element that also pummels you with a brooding garage rock presence that is like a mix of Shame and early Franz Ferdinand.
The observation presence of the vocal delivery and lyrics all add up to a devastating effect that highlights why this band is so clearly one to keep a good old eye on.
