The wonderfully named Anonymous Depressed Dogs Club are a Finish Indie-duo who have recently dropped their third single “Tuff,” a track that will appear on their soon-to-be-released EP, Laika
The track feels ready-made for a cool summer evening spent on a porch surrounded by your pals with a cold beer in tow, like a blend of the jangly guitar from the early days of Mac DeMarco and the coasting glistening feel of suburban lifestyle captured by Real Estate, this is pure chill bliss.
About the song the band offered:
When mixing this song we wanted to make it sound like it was played in a garage by a group of teenage Rockers. A couple of references I kept in the back of my head were ‘Pixies – Where Is My Mind’, and ‘Car Seat Headrest – Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales’. I don’t think ‘Tuff’ ended up sounding anything like those two tracks, and they most likely were not even recorded in a garage, it was more about this kind of garagy vibe that those tunes gave me.
