HORACE, is the project of Toronto-based singer-songwriter and producer Gabriel Horace Davis.

He’s returned with his new single “Old Shoes” a song that he wrote three years ago when he moved from Toronto to Los Angeles and was living and making music out of an old medical airstream trailer in the Santa Monica mountains.

The song captures the “bittersweetness of nostalgia and the conflict between what you knew and loved with the necessity of embracing the present moment.” It does so with a nostalgic and tender bedroom jangly pop sound that has a smooth wistful pop quality, feeling like a mix of Jens Lekman and early Mac DeMarco, with some great guitar tones and a colorful vibrant spirit running rampant throughout.

With its release comes an official music video which was directed by Jackie Radinksy and can be found below.
