Black Cherry Marble is the duo of Berlin-based musician Julia Cremers and Vienna-based musician Gabriel Gruber whose track “I’d Make You a Space” caught our attention late in 2020.
The duo has caught our attention with their single “Beautifully Amazing”, which was written in Norway, developed in Germany and recorded in Austria.
It’s an expansive folk effort that has elements of the classics but also brought home in a way that is drenched in modern flourishes to provide a devastating impact, like a mix of Beach House and Angel Olsen or Big Thief.
