A Will Away will return with their new album Strew on February 18th, 2022, via Rude Records. With the announcement came the release of its lead single “Karma.”
It’s a song that packs in big old-school 70’s rock and roll riffs with some unapologetically large-scale vocals that feel like they are from a different era completely – in the best way possible. In modern terms, think White Reaper meets The Darkness, Weezer, and Fountains of Wayne. Not bad, right?
There are big guitar licks, the sort that would feel right at home in Dazed and Confused. With the release comes a music video that was filmed at a high school not far from where the band members grew up in Connecticut and directed by Brent Campanelli and can be found available to watch below.
