The High Water Marks is the project of Elephant 6 Recording Company / The Apples In Stereo co-founder Hilarie Sidney. The group has returned with their new single “Jenny,” the follow-up single to the first album the band has released in 13 years.
“Jenny” has a shimmering 90s-esque dream pop and slacker rock sound that finds an absolutely infectious sound that is a total earworm. This is the sort of track that would dominate college radiowaves in the 90s, and we mean that fully as a compliment.
