The Infinite Daisy Chains is the Washington, D.C.-based husband and wife duo of Ian Dandridge and Kristina Westernik-Dandridge, whose music we first shared last summer.
They’re preparing for the release of their new EP Between You and Me and today we share its lovely lead single “Hope You Grow.” It’s a patient and warm synth-led indie-pop song that shines thanks to some gorgeous arrangements, a touching vocal performance, and well-placed strings. It’s a song that has some undeniable hooks but also an understated quality that hits home emotionally.
