Night Shop is the project of Justin Sullivan, best known for his time playing drums for Kevin Morby, as well as The Babies and Flat Worms.
He will release his new album Forever Night on December 1st, which features Meg Duffy (Hand Habits) on guitar as well as Jess Williamson, Anna St. Louis + Jarvis Taveniere, who co-produced the album along with Sullivan.
“Forever Night” is a retro rock that takes inspiration from the past but gives it an energetic modern boost that feels like a mix of early Kevin Morby with a bit of a raw Strokes element.
About the song Justin explained:
“Forever Night” is a song about feeling grateful and inspired by the pace and lessons of the city and the pace and lessons of getting to experience a life spent playing music. It is a statement of purpose of sorts for this project.
