Archie Sagers is a British musician who creates dreamy post punk music in his bedroom that is inspired by the greats of the genres: The Cure, Joy Division, DIIV and The Chameleons.
He recently released his second EP New Colours In The Sky v ia his own label Crafting Room Recordings, which features delightful offerings like single “Pulled In To The Sky” which are every bit as good as the sound that he advertises.
There is a jangly guitar and shoegaze inspired sound that pulls from DIIV and Beach Fossils, with some lovely vocals that feel part Craft Spells, with a bit of a New Order or The Horrors element in there as well. This song pulls me back into the early 2010s when life was easier and simpler in nearly every way imaginable.
